Susana Vassalo, Esposende, Portugal, 1982.

Degree in Architecture from the Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP), in 2006.

Attended the KTH of Stockholm, Sweden, as an Erasmus scholarship holder, in the academic year of 2004/2005.

During 2013/2014, attended a Master Degree in Theatre, with specialization in Scenography, at Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo (ESMAE), in Porto.

The traineeship was at Apolis Arkitektkontor (, in Stockholm, Sweden, at the invitation of the Teacher Klas Ruin, one of the founding architects of the agency.

In 2006 moved to Paris, France, for working at the Ateliers Jean Nouvel (, as an architect and interior designer, having participated directly in the development and monitoring of the Hotel Sofitel Praterstrasse in Vienna, Austria, namely collaborating with the artist Pipilotti Rist.

In 2009 returned to Portugal, having worked in the atelier of the Architect Telmo Castro (, in Porto, until 2011, and collaborating in numerous school projects.

She worked as a project coordinator in Conceito Arquitetos (, in Lisbon, from 2013 to 2015, developing big scale Retail buildings for Brazil and Africa.

Responsible, since 2012, for the Architecture, Interior Design and Furniture Design department of White Studio (, from the designer Eduardo Aires, design studio listed in the top eight in the world by Graphis (2011-2012).

She is a founding member of C.A.V. Arquitectos, an architecture collective studio based in Porto, where she developed projects while main associate between 2008 and 2012.

She also works, since 2009, in projects of exhibition scenography and art installation and performance.
